Ok, the last Austria pics

Mother nature has it all, even the perfect spot for a beer bottle....

Since it is propably getting old for everyone just to read about our vacation over and over again, I decided to post just the best pics I haven`t sent yet.

Just some cute shots of Lucien, he is such a happy fellow all the time

Stella writing a postcard to herself. She was sooo amazed when she found it in our mailbox and could not really believe how it made it to our house. Seemed like magic to her.The world from a kids point of view is full of miracles

Trying to wash off the paint in Luciens tub

Stella made a friend in Austria, a little girl named Alina. They hung out together all the time, having true feelings for and deep conversations with each other. So sweet
Another friend Stella made was Ann,the little pony. Mami and Daddy couldn`t believe that scaredy cat Stella actually rode the pony. We are so proud of her

Weekly News

This has been a rough week. Stella is back in kindergarten and not too excited about it. Yesterday her teacher told me that she was crancky all day long. When we got home she ate two full plates of her lunch and I wondered what was going on. I checked her lunchbox from kindergarten and saw, she didn`t eat a bite there. When I asked her why, she started crying and was telling me there was no room for her at the breakfast table. Poor baby, she must have been starving...
This morning I made sure they would check her bag and find a seat for her somewhere close to her friends.
Other than that she is big in ignoring Mami and Daddy and her manners were better when she was two. But we keep on being positive and work it out. Please send me some encouragement and tell me this is all normal. But in her defense, she is so sweet to Lucien and she`s doing great on the potty. On Wednesday I tried to sweep the sidewalk(I guess something very german to do) together with Stella. I made piles and she destroyed them. She had so much fun and giggled so much, she couldn`t hold it anymore and peed right in front of our house. I was not mad when I washed her clothes and shoes, we had a fun time....Later onI got back to sweeping when she was sound asleep in her bed.
Lucien is coming down with a nasty bug. He is running fever since yesterday and is just not feeling good, which reduces the amount of sleep for Mami to the minimum. Instead of writing here, I should propably take a nap since he is out, too.
Please keep the little man in your thoughts and prayers, so he can feel better soon, once for him and for Mami!!!!

Biking in the Alps

Ricky even got a chance to go biking last week. Since one of us had to stay with the kids, he took all these pics by himself with the camera set on timer. I think he did a great job and didn`t get hurt ( this time)!!!!!!!!!

Hiking in the Alps

Monday we went on a hiking tour to the `Hochzeiger` mountain which is about 2200 (approx.6600 feet) high in the alps.We took the gondel up and even though it was a bit cloudy, it was still beautiful.

Opa Werner, the owner of our hotel, came with us and filled us in with lots of information about this area of Austria, all the different mountains and the farming high up there. It was very interesting.
After a good walk( Stella did really well and Lucien slept all the way in his stroller while we walked on a very bumpy mountain path). We had lunch at a traditionell mountain cabin with a great playground. This is were we took those pics. They are soooo good.

Playing, eating and the thin air made Stella a bit tired .On the way back Ricky carried her every now and then, while Mami sweat to push the stroller back up to the lift.

Just hilarious!!!

Stella having a talk with Opa Werner

When we got to the car, it didn`t take a minute for Stella to crash in the car.She was out. And you propably wonder why I don`t mention the little one too much, but there is not much to say. He was just a happy fellow all day long.

My tired baby
