Made those cute snacks for Stella and her class a little while ago. One of the blogs that I read frequently , Our best Bites, hosted this idea and if you are interested in making some yourself, go over to their blog and get the free printable for the crayon paper or get lost in the gazzillions of yummy recipes they have to offer.
All you need for this impressive snack:
colored construction paper and a printer
pretzel rods
and candy melt matching your paper
Dip the ends of your pretzel sticks in the candy melt and let them harden.
Wrap with paper and use glue to make the paper stick( NOT to the pretzel of course) on the overlapping ends.
Stella and her friend Grayce had fun being my little helpers. Stella went a little crazy . Look at that face.
We opted for some grapes to go with it to increase the health factor ;)
When Stella came home from school that day, she was thrilled and said: Mami the treat was a hit!
Mission accomplished. So I was a cool mom at least for one day in my life ;)
